    By using eSign America, you agree to these terms. Electronic signatures created through our platform are legally binding under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA).
  

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using eSign America ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Electronic Signatures

eSign America facilitates the creation of legally binding electronic signatures. By using this service:

You consent to conducting business electronically
You agree that electronic signatures are the legal equivalent of handwritten signatures
You confirm you have the authority to sign documents on behalf of any organization you represent
You understand that signed documents are legally enforceable under ESIGN and UETA

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. eSign America is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized account access.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use eSign America to:

Send fraudulent or illegal documents
Forge signatures or impersonate others
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Harass, threaten, or harm other users

5. Document Storage

Documents uploaded to eSign America are stored securely and encrypted. We retain documents for as long as your account is active. You may download your signed documents at any time from your dashboard.

6. Pricing & Billing

Subscription fees are billed according to your chosen plan. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. Envelope overages are billed at the per-envelope rate for your plan.

7. Privacy

Your use of eSign America is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data or document contents to third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

eSign America is not liable for disputes arising between parties to a signed document. We provide the technology platform — the legal relationship is between the parties to the document.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
